# EU AI Act Risk Navigator

> Preliminary self-assessment tool that classifies an AI system under the EU AI Act and outlines applicable deadlines and next steps.

The Navigator guides organisations through a short questionnaire covering sector, role, prohibited practices, high-risk use cases, GPAI exposure, transparency obligations, and human oversight. It returns one of five tiers — Prohibited Practice, High-Risk (Annex I), High-Risk (Annex III), Limited-Risk, or Minimal-Risk — with the corresponding compliance deadline and recommended measures. Output is a preliminary self-assessment and not legal advice.
